Is Jesus real?

This world is filled with questions about truth, purpose, and hope.  The biggest of these questions: Why should I believe in Jesus? As a Christian apologist and creationist, I believe there are powerful reasons, both from evidence and experience, that point to Jesus as the ultimate answer to this all important question.

1. Jesus Is the Truth That Explains Reality

When you look at creation, you see design everywhere.  There’s the fine-tuned precision of the universe, the miracle that is DNA and the information it carries, and the moral awareness written on every human heart. These things don’t point to chaos or chance. They point to purpose and intelligence. Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life” (John 14:6). He is not simply one path among many; He is the truth that makes sense of everything we see in creation.

2. The Resurrection Is Historical Reality

The foundation of Christian faith rests on one historical event, the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The empty tomb is a matter of record. Eyewitnesses testified that they saw Him alive, and those same witnesses faced persecution and death rather than deny it. The early church’s growth exploded because people truly believed Jesus had conquered death. If He rose from the grave, then He is exactly who He claimed to be, The Son of God, The Savior of mankind.

3. The Bible Offers Coherent Hope

Without God, morality and meaning are relegated to mere opinion. But the Bible provides a consistent, trustworthy explanation of our world: we were created in God’s image, sin corrupted His good creation, and Jesus came to redeem it. The gospel doesn’t just tell us what’s wrong.  It also tells us how everything can be made right. It’s a message of hope held together in truth, not wishful thinking.

4. Jesus Still Transforms Lives

Belief in Jesus isn’t just intellectual; it’s deeply personal. Across every culture and century, people testify that He has changed their lives.  They speak of its freeing them from guilt, healing brokenness, and replacing fear with peace. Scripture says, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation” (2 Corinthians 5:17). The Creator who formed the universe can also recreate your heart.

Believing in Jesus isn’t blind faith. It’s trusting the One who made you, proved His love on the cross, and still transforms lives today.
